[Parkersburg News/Sentinel, Parkersburg, WV, Dec 7, 2008] Kathleen B. Straight Kathleen B. Straight, 92, of Grafton, W.Va., formerly of Little Hocking, Ohio. She was born in Ansted, W.Va., on April 8, 1916, and was the daughter of the late Guy H. and Attrice Claytor Burdette. She worked in Charleston for the Peoples Store, and also a restaurant in Belpre. Survivors include two sons, Karl L. Wobb (Eloise) of Belpre and Fredrick W. Webb (Hongmei) of Sterling, Va.; a daughter, Carol Kidd (David) of Grafton, W.Va.; one step-grandson; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Parl D. Straight. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Bill Thomas officiating. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Highlawn Cemetery at Oak Hill, W.Va. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. today at the funeral home. |
