Karl Fredrick Webb

Karl Fredrick Webb, 94, of Buckhannon WV, formerly of Parkersburg passed away January 28, 2010.

He was born in Gauley Bridge, WV. he graduated fron Anstead WV High School with the Class of 1935 and served in the U.S. Navy submarine service during WWII. He was employed with Union Carbide at Alloy, WV and Marietta, OH., with McDonnell Douglass Aircraft at Cape Canaveral Florida and was a Real Estate Broker at Melbourne Beach Fla. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Fredrick W. Webb of Virginia, Karl Webb of Belpre, OH. one daughter, Wanda Carol Kidd of Grafton, WV, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, H.O. and Alma Meador Webb, his wives, Helen Taylor Webb and Theda Jill Skaggs Webb, three brothers, Col. H. Oscar, Thomas Kenton and Robert D. Webb.

Services 3:00 PM Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend David Carpenter officiating. Burial in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation Sunday 2-5 PM.
