Albion - Mary Esther Nichols, 99, of Albion, died on Saturday March 7, 2015 at North Ridge Village Nursing Home. She was born on May 9, 1915 in Whitley County. She married Kenneth Nichols on October 31, 1934 in Columbia City. She is survived by daughters, Beverly (Duane) Guthrie of Albion, and Elaine Kay (Howard) McGlennen of Clarksvile, GA, 7 grand children, 21 great grandchildren, and 22 great great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister in law, Irene Nichols of Columbia City, and a foster sister, Catherine Jagger of Columbia City. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth in 2004, a brother, and 2 sisters. Funeral Services will be 11:00am Wednesday March 11, 2015 at Brazzell Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road with visitation one hour prior. Dr. Thomas Clothier officiating. Visitation also from 4-7pm Tuesday March 10, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery, Columbia City. Memorials may be made to North Ridge Village Nursing Home, Albion.
