Descendants of Peter Shriner
Mr. Kenneth James Puryear of South Boston, VA died Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the age of 70. He was born in Halifax Co., VA on April 30, 1944 to the late James Stover Puryear and the late Winsome Baker Puryear. Mr. Puryear was a salesman for South Boston Insurance, a former member of the National Guard, and a member of Black Walnut Baptist Church. He loved fishing, boating, water skiing, and watching wrestling. Survivors include a sister, Pamela P. Ashley; a brother, Dennis R. Puryear; a niece, Kistla Wheeler; and nephews, Phillip Throckmorton, Shane Puryear, and Jarrod Puryear. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Black Walnut Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Raymod Wooten officiating. The family will receive friends at Black Walnut Baptist Church on Sunday from 2:00 - 3:00 PM. |
