Manchester, Tenn.

Floyd E. Trimmer, 90, of Manchester, Tenn., and formerly of Columbia City, Ind., died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The Noble County, Ind., native was owner/operator of Trimmer Mobil Gas Service station in Columbia City, Ind., had driven a school bus for Columbia Township and worked for More Farm Store in Columbia City as a repairman. He also drove a milk delivery truck, farmed and worked for Foot Hill Crafts as a skilled woodworker. He was a World War II Navy veteran, attended Trinity Baptist Church and was a member of Adult I Sunday school class.

Surviving are a son, Larry of Manchester; brothers Basle of Columbia City, Ind., and Lee of Larwill, Ind.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by wives Madge L. and Mary and three brothers.

Graveside services are 10 a.m. Monday at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam, Ind. Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Memorials are to the church Building Fund.
