LEO HENRY MERRIMAN LEO HENRY MERRIMAN, 75, of Grover Hill, Ohio, died Saturday at home. The Columbia City native retired in 1967 from Sunoco in Van Wert, Ohio, and also farmed. He was a veteran of World War II. His first wife, Eunice M., died in 1974. Surviving are his wife, Peggy; daughters, Nancy McMichael of Cecil, Ohio, and Susan Osborn of Melrose, Ohio; mother, Edith Merriman of Cloverdale, Ohio; stepsons, Gale Davis of Defiance, Dale Davis Sr. of Dupont, Ohio, Dale Davis Jr.( of Oakwood, Ohio, Mike Davis and Brian Davis, both of Sidney, Ohio, and Robin Davis of Continental, Ohio; sisters, Jeanne Britsch of Cloverdale, and Emma Porter and Georgia Geren, both of Oakwood; brothers, Edward of Oakwood and Merle of Convoy, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren. Services are 11 a.m. (Ohio time) Wednesday in Auglaize Chapel Church of God, Oakwood. Calling is 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, Ohio, and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be with military honors in Middle Creek Cemetery. Memorials are to Paulding Area Visiting Nurses Association. |
