EDITH L. MERRIMAN EDITH L. MERRIMAN, 106, of Cloverdale, died Monday at Paradise Oaks Nursing Home. Born in Auburn, Ind., and formerly of Oakwood, she was a homemaker. Her husband, Carl, died in 1973. Surviving are two sons, Edward of Oakwood and Merle of Convoy; three daughters, Emma Porter and Georgia Geren, both of Oakwood, and Jeannie Britsch of Cloverdale; 26 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; and 53 great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded death by four sons, Leo, Bruce and two infant boys, and a daughter, Hilda Geren. Services at 11 a.m. EDT (10 a.m. Fort Wayne time) Thursday at Auglaize Chapel Church of God, Oakwood, with calling two hours before services. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. EDT Wednesday at the church. Burial in Little Auglaize Cemetery, Melrose. Memorials to donor's choice. Arrangements by Heit-meyer Funeral Home, Oakwood. |
