ETHELBERT GEREN ETHELBERT GEREN, 74, of Continental, Ohio, died yesterday at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. He retired from Aetna Truck Lines in 1975. He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran. His wife, Hilda Marie, died in 1974. Surviving are daughters, Sherry Ann Cole, Shelly Bartley and Sharon Jackson, all of Grover Hill, Ohio, Barbara Ladd of Cloverdale, Ohio, and Mary Ann Baldridge of Leipsic, Ohio; brothers, Wilbur of Defiance, Ohio and Glenn of Continental; a sister, Doris Geren of Michigan; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Taylor Funeral Home in Oakwood, Ohio, where calling will be 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow, 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and after noon Tuesday. Interment will be at Monroe Cemetery near Continental, where military rites will be provided by American Legion Post 541. Preferred memorials are gifts to the American Heart Association. |
