DELTHA "DOT" DORIS MERRIMAN Oakwood - DELTHA "DOT" DORIS MERRIMAN, 71, died Wednesday at home. Born in Putnam County, she was a clerk in the meat department at Paul's IGA in Oakwood. She had worked for the Oakwood Telephone Co., S&S Locker and Olin Corp., all of Oakwood. She also worked for Rockhold's Market of Continental and Baughman's Market of Melrose. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce, in 1995 and a son, Sgt. Thomas B. Surviving are a daughter, Connie Garrabrant of Marengo; three sons, James and Edward, both of Oakwood, and Robert of Paulding; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services a 2 p.m. Saturday at Auglaize Chapel Church of God, Oakwood, with calling from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 9 p.m. today. Burial in Little Auglaize Cemetery, Melrose. DELTHA "DOT" DORIS MERRIMAN Deltha "Dot" Doris Merriman, 71, of Oakwood, Ohio, a clerk, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998, at home. The Putnam County native had worked at Paul's IGA in the meat department, at Oakwood Telephone Company, S & S Locker, at Olin Corporation, Rockhold's Market in Continental and Baughman's Market in Melrose. She attended Auglaize Chapel Church of God. Surviving are a daughter, Connie Garrabrant of Marengo; sons James and Edward, both of Oakwood and Robert of Paulding; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce, a son, Thomas B., one brother, two sisters and one grandchild. Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, Ohio, with calling from 9 a.m. till services and also from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the church.
