EDWARD A. SCHENKEL EDWARD A. SCHENKEL, 79, of Fort Wayne died yesterday at Parkview Memorial Hospital. He had lived in Fort Wayne all his life. He retired from International Harvester in 1972 after 38 years of work. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and its men's club. Surviving are his wife, Marjorie; a son, David E.; sisters, Jane Sunderland and Joan Rosswurm; and brothers, Carl P. and Bernard W. All survivors live in Fort Wayne. Services are 12:30 p.m. Monday at the church, 8669 Auburn Road, and noon at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 Wells St., where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery. Preferred memorials are gifts to the Allen County Heart Fund or the church. |
