Funeral services will be held at the Smith Funeral Home at 2 o’clock on Tuesday afternoon at the Smith Funeral Home for Mrs. Charles Hively, 66 of Richland twp, who died Saturday night after an illness of 2 1/2 years. Rev. and Mrs. Ira N Kilpatrick of South Whitley will officiate at the funeral rites. The body was taken to the Hively home this afternoon and will be returned to the funeral home Tuesday morning.

Mrs. Hively was the former Harriet Reatha Mosher, daughter of James and Miranda Kemery Mosher and was born December 29, 1878. Her marriage to Mr. Hively occurred October 31, 1900. She spent her life in Richland township. Survivors are the husband and a daughter Miss Hildreth Hively, at home; three brothers, Ransom Mosher, Columbia City; Millard Mosher, South Whitley and Earm Mosher, Pierceton; two sisters, Mrs. William Kissinger, Columbia City; Mrs. Gertrude Mosher, Toledo, Ohio. Her father, James Mosher, died December 13, 1941.
