Imogene M. Outcalt Imogene M. Outcalt, age 87, of Coshocton Rd., died June 8, 2002, at the Country Club Retirement Center. She was born April 30, 1915, in Pleasantville, Ohio, the daughter of Pearl and Maude (Bope) Griffith and had been a Mount Vernon resident since 1940. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ and the Knox Chapter 236 of the O.E.S. Mrs. Outcalt had been employed as a medical records librarian at the Martin Memorial Hospital and retired in 1971 from the Mount Vernon Developmental Center. She is survived by two sons, Milton (Jan) Outcalt of Lewis Center, Ohio and Joseph (Cathie) Outcalt of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandsons; two step grandchildren; and two great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Karl Outcalt in March of 2002, and her brother Hugh Griffith. Friends may call at the FLOWERS-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 619 East High Street, Mount Vernon (740-392-6956) on Saturday, June 15, from 1 p.m until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. The Reverend J. Mikal Outcalt will officiate. Burial for both Imogene's and Karl's cremated remains will follow at the Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
