Zelma Anne (Susie) Eiland- Andersen

Susie Andersen, 52, of Coventry Township, passed away Feb. 1, 1998, following a courageous battle with a long illness.

She was born Feb. 2, 1945, to Frances (Erwin) and Arnie Corderman. Susie was part-owner of Eiland Mold and Machine Co. for 10 years, and was employed at Bauer Enterprises when she became ill in 1991. Susie had been an active member of the Cuyahoga Falls Baptist Church since 1965, where she taught Sunday School and faithfully served the Lord in many other ways. She also volunteered her time to many activities including Girl Scouts and the PTA.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Erwin Sparks; and husband, Neil R. Andersen (Red), both of Coventry. She is survived by devoted sister, Nancy Schwegal of Akron; daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Steve Schueller of Mogadore, Cynthia and Phillip Howell of Hudson, Cathleen and Mike Esterak of Cuyahoga Falls, Clarissa and David Stephenson of Coventry; grandchildren, Hillary Anne and Terra Lee Howell, Crystal Marie, Michael Wayne, and Cassandra Anne Esterak, Lauren Frances, David Foster, and Alex William Stephenson. She is also survived by grandmother, Pearl Eiland of California; step-parents, George and Delores Schwegal of Illinois; very special friends, Vicki Steele and Terry Neaville; and loving cousin, Linda Kozar; many other relatives and dear friends whose visits and prayers made her last years full and enjoyable.

Funeral services Thursday, 11 a.m., at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, Rev. Tom Webb officiating. Friends may call Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to the service. (Campfield-Hickman-Collier, 745-3161.)
