LLOYD MONROE GAERTE Lloyd Monroe Gaerte, 78, 1120 11th Ave. So., died at a Nampa nursing home Thursday after being in ill health a number of years. Mr. Gaerte was born Feb. 2, 1885 near Columbia City, Ind. He was reared in Indiana and later moved west. He was married to Martha Woods Dec. 23, 1914 at Tecumseh, Okla. They lived in Colorado where Mr. Gaerte worked for a railroad and also farmed in Colorado and Oklahoma, and after coming to Idaho in 1923. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Gaerte, Nampa; one son, Glenn Gaerte, Nampa; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Booth, Albany, Ga., and Mrs. Ethel Embree, Nampa; one sister, Mrs.. Ada Dickerson, Columbia City, Ind.; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Services are pending at the Alsip Chapel. |
