MAYNARD E. HARROLD

MAYNARD E. HARROLD, 68, died Tuesday at Whitley Memorial Hospital. Born in Columbia City, he retired from International Harvester Co. and worked in the maintenance department at Columbia City High School. He most recently was employed as an apartment manager for Schrader Real Estate Equities Inc. He was also a self-employed general farmer. He was a Korean War veteran. He also served on the advisory board for Thorncreek Township School. Surviving are his wife, Beverly; three daughters, Carla Cooper of Valparaiso and Aimee Fry and Jean Kessie, both of Columbia City; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Church of God, Columbia City, with calling one hour before services. Calling also from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, Columbia City. Burial in Blue River Cemetery, Columbia City. Memorials to the church building fund.
