ALFRED LEE GRADELESS

ALFRED LEE GRADELESS, 77, died Monday at Miller's Merry Manor in Columbia City. Born in Columbia City, he was employed at the Whitley County Highway Department from 1943 to 1954. In 1953, he and his wife purchased a farm in Smith Township, near Round Lake, where they farmed for 41 years. Surviving are his wife, Jane; a sister, Betty Luther of Columbia City; and a brother, Clifford of Columbia City. He was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Jean Schuman. Services at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Smith and Sons Funeral Home. Calling from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial in Nolt Cemetery in Columbia Township. Memorials to donor's favorite charity.
