CLIFFORD D. "KIP" GRADELESS, 74, of Columbia City, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2006. He farmed with Edgar Sherbahn for many years and retired from Zollner Corporation in 1993 with 36 years of service. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Constance A. "Connie" (Smith) Gradeless; sons, Michael D. (Marsha) Gradeless and Mark A. Gradeless both of Columbia City; daughter, Ann K. (Greg) Stalcup, Columbia City; foster daughter, Christine M. (Bill) Hackworth, North Webster; six grandchildren, Joel and Samara Stalcup, Natalee and. Melissa Gradeless, and Brook and Dustee Allen; and sister, Betty Luther, Laud. Service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial in South Whitley Cemetery.
