Betty Sheets Sheets Betty A, 61, of R. 8, Columbia City, died Sunday in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born Aug. 14, 1927 in Thorncreek Twp, Whitley County, the daughter of Dewey and Mildred (Bair) Herron. On June 22, 1947 she married Eldo E. "Bud" Sheets. She had lived in Tri Lakes most of her life and graduated from Columbia City High School. She was employed by Whitley Products and Precision Plastics, a member of St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church, and a former member of Etna Rebekah Lodge and Thorncreek Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband; her mother in Columbia City; a daughter, Mrs. David (Gloria) Didion of Garrett; 5 sons, Buddy, Dewey, John and Harold of Columbia City and Jerry of R. 4, Albion; 2 sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Barbara) Sanderson of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Ronald (Adabell) Hile of Columbia City; a brother, Tim W. of Columbia City; and 16 grandchildren. Services Wednesday in Smith & Son Funeral Home, Columbia City. Burial, St. Matthew’s Cemetery. + 4-2-1989 |
