Ronald R. Blauser, 76

ZANESVILLE -- Ronald R. Blauser, 76, formerly of Zanesville passed away at his residence in Wesley Chapel, Fla. Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004.

He was born Sept. 9, 1927 in Baltimore, the son of the late Roland R. and Mabel M. Pugh Blauser. He was a Merchant Marine veteran of World War II and engineer who owned and operated a plastic pipe and trucking company. He loved horse racing and formerly owned racehorses. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by three sons, Craig (Karen) Cheetham of Pasadena, Calif., Greg (Debbie) Blauser of Houston, Texas, and Randy (Caryn) Blauser of Tampa, Fla.; one daughter, Debbie (Captain Robert) Morgan; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer and Brian Morgan, Phillip Cheetham, Diane Maxwell, David Cheetham, and Brent, Derek, Trey, Jillian and Ryan Blauser; sister, Joan Williams of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Leola Blauser and his second wife, Margorie Blauser.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Bryan Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Scott Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Hampson Cemetery, Pleasantville.
