The Civil War Records of David Eller (1815-1883) from the National Archives, Washington D.C. He was not born in Union Co. The county was not created until 1842. This document was transcribed under a W.P.A. project. The information was taken from a Civil War Muster Roll which listed the rank and file of Company I, 2nd Regiment.
( I found the scans of page 140 and 141 to be the same except for size, so only 141 is reproduced here [ADE])
