QUERY- From William L. Eller, 2056 S.E. Grandview Court, Milwalkie, OR 97267: Seeks info on JAMES ELLER, b. at sea 18011803. I have some info on James and his wife Susan?, on one of his sons, his grandad, wife and children. That he was born at sea might be the link to connect him to other Ellers. I have no idea where the other James Eller children are, or even if his marriage to Susan was his first.

Box 101, Young Harris, GA: "In the listing of the children of Joseph and Mariah Hedden Eller on P. 9 of the Feb. 1988 Eller Chronicles, please note this correction regarding child #6, VINETTA ELLER, b. 1835, Rabun Co.,GA. SHE DID NOT MARRY 5 SEPT. 1841 ABNER SMITH. Nothing further is known about Vinetta Eller after the 1850 census of Union Co., GA. In that year she was 15 years old and living with her grandmother, Elizabeth Pinson Hedden Visage. Elizabeth Pinson Hedden Visage had a step-daughter named Vinetta Visage who married Abner Smith. . .

"Would not Joseph Eller of Buncombe Co. who had the saddle bags full of gold not be the uncle of Joseph Eller of Towns County rather than a first cousin?"
