Ltr-. dated 3 Feb 1992 to Charlotte Marshall: "Enclosed is pedigree chart of my descent from Henry and Elizabeth Beigler/Bigler Eller. Their Sr. son John Aylor (or Eller) Mikesell (1784-1658) is my grandfather. He m. his 1st cousin, Catherine Mikesell, in 18078 in Bourbon Co., KY. His family converted to Mormonism ca. 1835 while living in either IN or IL and migrated to Utah in 1847. Their children came later to Utah; the last of the family migrated from Council Bluff, IA in 1863 (my 3g grandfather, Barrett Walls Mikesell).

"The verification of my Eller/Mikesell connection is contained in two 1794 Washington Co., MD deeds drawn between Joseph Eller and his siblings-- all children of Henry Eller and Elizabeth Beigler/Bigler. These documents clearly state that Ann Mary (or "Anna Marie") was the daughter of Henry Eller and wife of John Mikesell... from the hard-to-read copies and by comparison with the filmed version, I have transcribed both documents-- see enclosed copies. Original grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization and deletions have been preserved. I have noted the deeds' source and LDS kfamily History Library microfilm call number at the top of each initial page. At the end of each transcription I have added appropriate notes and my address--in case someone should ever want to contact me.
