WILLIAM PARRY (son of Jenkin and Elizabeth Parry)

29 June 1870 - He was born at Barrack Hill, St Woollos, Newport (birth certificate).
2 April 1871 - Aged 9 months, he was living with his parents at 21 West St, Newport (1871 census index transcription from Angela DeRoy-Jones 1/5/01).
3 April 1881 - He was a scholar aged 10 living at 108 Cemetery Rd, Aberdare with his parents and siblings (see 1881 census).
27 October 1890 - He was a grocer's assistant aged 20 living at 3 Weatherall St, Aberdare when he married Margaret Morgans in Bethel Baptist Chapel Abernant (marriage certificate).
5 April 1891 - He was a grocer's assistant aged 21 living with his wife Margaret and her mother Elizabeth Morgan at 16 Back Long Row, Llwydcoed, Aberdare. He could speak both English and Welsh (see 1891 census).
31 October 1898 - He was a grocer's assistant when their daughter Ethel Winifred was born at 82 Gadlys Rd, Aberdare (EWP's birth certificate).
31 March 1901 - He was a grocer’s assistant aged 30 living at 143(?) Cwm St, Abertillery with his wife Margaret, their daughter Ethel W aged 2 and Albert John Gaddon (?), a boarder. He could speak both English and Welsh (see 1901 census).
June qtr 1904 - The birth of (their daughter?) Ivy Morgan Parry was registered in Bedwellty (GRO ref 11a 81).
Monday 29 August 1909 - He attended the funeral service of his father Jenkin at Siloa Congregational Chapel, Aberdare, followed by the burial in the old cemetery, Aberdare (see Aberdare Leader dated 4 September 1909).
2 April 1911 - He was staying at 28 Victoria Rd, Ebbw Vale, Monmouthshire with William James Hitchins, Sylvia Hitchins and their family. (Sylvia, whose maiden name was James, had been a domestic servant living/working for Jenkin Parry at the time of the 1891 census. Her marriage to William James Hitchins was registered in Bedwellty in the June qtr of 1899 - GRO ref 11a 195). See 1911 census: -

MARGARET PARRY (NÉE MORGANS) (daughter of Thomas Morgans)

C 1871/72 - She was born in Aberdare (see 1901 census).
3 April 1881 - Aged 9, she was living at 2 Long Row, Aberdare, with her widowed mother Eliza, a hosekeeper aged 55, her sister Gwenllian, a general servant aged 17, her cousin Elizabeth Morgan, aged 4, and Richard Lewis, a boarder aged 21 (see 1881 census).
27 October 1890 - She was aged 19 and living at 16 Long Row, Abernant, Aberdare, when she married William Parry in Bethel Baptist Chapel Abernant. Her father, formerly a coal miner, was dead (marriage certificate).
5 April 1891 - Aged 20, she was living with her husband William and her mother Elizabeth Morgan at 16 Back Long Row, Llwydcoed, Aberdare. She could speak both English and Welsh (see 1891 census).
9 December 1898 - She was living at 82 Gadlys Rd when she registered the birth of their daughter Ethel Winnifred (EWP's birth certificate).
31 March 1901 - Aged 29, she was living with her daughter Ethel W aged 2 and in-laws at 24 Dean St, Aberdare. She could speak both English and Welsh (see 1901 census).
31 March 1901 - Aged 29, she was living at 143(?) Cwm St, Abertillery with her husband William, their daughter Ethel W and Albert John Gaddon (?), a boarder. She could speak both English and Welsh (see 1901 census). NB she was entered under two different locations in the 1901 census.
2 April 1911 - She was a married general servant aged 39 living with Henry Church, a coal miner, his wife Mary Lizzie and family at Odcombe House, 4 Blythe St, Abertillery. She had been married for 20 years and had 3 children, all alive (see 1911 census).

ELIZABETH SARAH JENKINS (NÉE PARRY) (daughter of Jenkin and Elizabeth Parry)

22 March 1872 - She was born at 16 Blewitt Street, Newport, St Woollos (birth certificate).
30 May 1872 - She was from St Woollos when she was baptised in the St Woollos Wesleyan Methodist circuit (Monmouthshire Non-Conformist Records web-site).
3 April 1881 - She was a scholar aged 9 living at 108 Cemetery Rd, Aberdare with her parents and siblings (see 1881 census).
5 April 1891 - She was a confectioner's assistant aged 19 living with her parents and siblings at 3 Wetheral St, Aberdare. She could speak both English and Welsh (see 1891 census).
31 March 1901 - She was a confectioner's assistant aged 28 living at 59 Wind St, Aberdare, with her uncle and aunt William S and Rosa John. She could speak both English and Welsh (see 1901 census).
21 December 1901 - She was a spinster aged 28 living at 56 Woodland Rd, Mountain Ash when she married Mathew Jenkins by licence in Pontypridd Register Office. Her sister Ethel Winifred Parry was one of the witnesses (see marriage certificate).
2 April 1911 - She was living in The Coittage, Mountain Ash (see 1911 census): -

C 1876/77 - He was born in Mountain Ash (see 1911 census).
3 April 1881 - He was a scholar aged 7 living at 42 London St, Llanwonno with his parents Stephen, a coal miner aged 33 and Mary J aged 27 and his siblings George aged 5, Elizabeth A aged 3 and Sarah J aged 6 months (see 1881 census).
5 April 1891 - He was a coal miner aged 17 living with his parents Stephen, a coal miner aged 45 and Mary J aged 35, and his siblings George aged 16, Elizabeth A aged 14, Sarah J aged 10, Thomas J aged 8, William aged 5, Stephen aged 4 and Mary Jane aged 5 months at 18 Cliff St, Llanwonno (see 1881 census).
31 March 1901 - He was a tea merchant working on his own account from home living with his (step) father John Thomas Jenkin, his mother Mary Jane and his siblings George aged 26, Sarah Jane aged 20, Thomas John aged 19, William Samuel aged 16, Stephen aged 14, Mary Jane aged 10 and Alfred James aged 9 in Cwnfannor (?) House, Llanwonno (see 1901 census). 21 December 1901 - He was a commercial traveller aged 28 living in Peurlins Cottage, Mountain Ash when he married Elizabeth Parry by licence in Pontypridd Register Office. His father, a collier, was deceased (see marriage certificate).
2 April 1911 - He was a commercial traveller aged 34 living with his wife Elizabeth in The Cottage, Mountain Ash (see 1911 census and table above).

27 December 1873 - He was born at 20 Griffith St, Aberdare (birth certificate).
3 April 1881 - He was a scholar aged 7 living at 108 Cemetery Rd, Aberdare with his parents and siblings (see 1881 census).
5 April 1891 - He was a grocer's assistant aged 17 living at 81 Gadlys Rd, Aberdare with Evans Jones, a grocer, and family. He could speak both English and Welsh (see 1891 census).
11 April 1898 - He was a grocer's assistant aged 24 living at 134 York Rd, Bristol when he married Florence Mogg in Zion Chapel, Coronation Rd, Bristol (see chapel register & marriage certificate).
31 March 1901 - He was a self-employed grocer's shopkeeper living at 84 Kingsland Rd, St Philip and Jacob, Bristol, with his wife Florence and brother Thomas (see 1901 census).
22 June 1901 - Their daughter Winnifred Maud was born in Merthyr Tydfil (army records).
C 1902/03 - Their son Ivor David was born in Totterdown, Bristol. He was an imbecile from birth (see 1911 census).
September qtr 1902 - The birth of their son Ivor David was registered in Bristol (GRO ref 6a 37).
26 January 1905 - Their son William Archibald was born in Merthyr Tydfil (army records).
7 October 1905 - He witnessed the marriage of his sister Rose to Edwin Jackman in Trinity Chapel, Weatheral St, Aberdare (EJ/RP's marriage certificate).

At some stage, he lived with his wife near Fishguard (info from Stan Parry 4/8/01).
March qtr 1912 - The death of their son Ivor D aged 9 was registered in Pontypridd (GRO ref 11a 626).
20 March 1915 - He joined the army at Merthyr Tydfil and was posted to the Army Service Corps Depot at Ormskirk. He was a grocer's assistant aged 38 years and 90 days. He was 5' 2" tall and weighed 137 lbs. His chest measured 38 1/2" with an expansion range of 2 1/2". His physical development was very good. He had been vaccinated in infancy. He had 6/6 vision in both eyes. His regimental number was R/4/063518 (army records).
3 July 1915 - He was promoted to corporal (army records).

16 July 1919 - He was SQMS 77063518 in No. 6 Squadron RASC Remounts when his discharge statement of disability was completed in Ormskirk. He was aged 45 and his medical category was B1. He had not served overseas and he had no disability. His home address was 5 Newton Terrace, Twynyrodyn, Merthyr Tydvil (Army form W5783).
22 April 1921 - Their son Stanley was born at their home 7 Windsor Arcade, Penarth (info from Stan Parry 4/8/01).
June qtr 1921 - The birth of their son Stanley G was registered in Cardiff (GRO ref 11a 1079).
C 1930 - He was the manager of a Lipton's store in Cardiff (info from Stan Parry 4/8/01).
22 June 1934 - He was a grocer's manager living at 7 The Arcade, Penarth, when he notified the registrar of the death of his wife Florence (FP's death certificate).
1934 - After the death of his wife, he went to live with his married daughter Winnifred (info from Stan Parry 4/8/01).
He became the Pier Master at Penarth.

29 September 1939 - He was a retired grocer and a widower living with his married daughter Winifred M Arthur, her husband William G Arthur and one other person at 1 Sully Terrace, Penarth (see 1939 register).
17 March 1943 - He was a retired grocers shop manager when he died aged 68 at 30A Cowbridge Rd, Cardiff, of (a) Tabes Dorsalis and (b) Specific Disease. He had been living at 1 Sully Terrace, Penarth. His son-in-law, W G Arthur, of 1 Sully Terrace, Penarth, advised the registrar the same day (death certificate).
? - He was buried in Penarth (info from Stan Parry 30/7/01).

FLORENCE PARRY (NÉE MOGG) (daughter of William and Jane Mogg)

8 January 1880 - She was born at 8 County St, Bedminster (birth certificate).
18 February 1880 - Her father, William Mogg, a marble mason, of 8 County St, Bedminster, registered her birth. Her mother's maiden name was Woodman (birth certificate).
3 April 1881 - Aged 1, she was living at 43 Stevens Crescent, Bedminster, with her parents William, a marble mason aged 39, and Jane, aged 44, and her siblings Bessie aged 15, William H aged 13, Georgina aged 10 (shown as an imbecile from birth), Alfred J aged 7, and Ada J aged 5 (see 1881 census).
5 April 1891 - She was a scholar aged 11 living in a grocer's shop at 43 Stevens Crescent, Bedminster, with her parents William, a monumental mason aged 56, and Jane aged 53, and her siblings Bessie, a dressmaker aged 25, William H, an oil and colour assistant aged 23, Alfred J, a grocer aged 18, and Ada J, a boot and shoe shop (assistant?) aged 16 (see 1891 census).
11 April 1898 - She was aged 19 and living at 49 Stevens Crescent, Bristol when she married David Parry in Zion Chapel, Coronation Rd, Bristol. The witnesses were Ada Mogg, William Mogg and Samuel French (see chapel register).
31 March 1901 - Aged 22, she was living at 84 Kingsland Rd, St Philip and Jacob, Bristol, with her husband David and his brother Thomas (see 1901 census).
2 April 1911 - She was living at 34 Hoel Dyfed, Fishguard (see 1911 census): -

20 March 1915 - She was living at 2 Foundry Place, Twynyrodyn, Merthyr, Glamorgan when her husband David enlisted in the Army Service Corps (DP's army records).
21 June 1934 - She died, aged 54, of endocarditis and disseminated sclerosis, at 12 Albert Crescent, Penarth although her home was at 7 The Arcade, Penarth (death certificate).
22 June 1934 - Her husband David advised the registrar (death certifiate).
June 1934 - She was buried in Penarth (info from Stan Parry 30/7/01).

ALICE GERTRUDE PARRY (daughter of Jenkin and Elizabeth Parry)

27 December 1875 - She was born at 11 Griffith St, Aberdare (birth certificate).
25 November 1876 - She died, aged 11 months, in Upper Regent St, Aberdare, of tabes mesenterica convulsions (death certificate).
She was buried in plot D17/9 in the old cemetery, Aberdare (cemetery department).

15 November 1877 - She was born at 3 Lewis Place, Aberdare (birth certificate).
3 April 1881 - Aged 3, she was living at 108 Cemetery Rd, Aberdare with her parents and siblings (see 1881 census).
14 January 1884 - She died, aged 6, at 9 Mount Pleasant, Aberdare, of tubercular meningitis 21 days (death certificate).
She was buried in plot D17/9 in the old cemetery, Aberdare (cemetery department).

ROSA JANE JACKMAN (NÉE PARRY) (daughter of Jenkin and Elizabeth Parry)

30 April 1880 - She was born at 108 Cemetery Rd, Aberdare (birth certificate).
3 April 1881 - Aged 11 months, she was living at 108 Cemetery Rd, Aberdare with her parents and siblings (see 1881 census).
5 April 1891 - She was a scholar aged 9 living with her parents and siblings at 3 Wetheral St, Aberdare (see 1891 census).

Evening Friday 2 March 1906 - She sang the duet "I surrender" with Miss Parry at a temperance meeting held at the Trinity Vestry held under the auspices of the Trinity Christian Endeavour Society (see Aberdare Leader dated 3 March 1906).
1 August 1907 - She was living at 12 Canon St, Aberdare, when their son George Edwin was born (GEJ's birth certificate).
12 September 1907 - She was living at the same address when she registered the birth of their son George Edwin (GEJ's birth certificate).

2 April 1943 - She died aged 62 of carcinoma of the breast at 30a Cowbridge Rd, Cardiff. Her home was 38 Wyndham Rd, Cardiff (death certificate).
5 April 1943 - Her son G E Jackman, of 126 Westbourne Rd, Penarth, who had been present at her death, advised the registrar (death certificate).

EDWIN GEORGE JACKMAN (son of George Edwin and Hanna Jackman)

30 July 1876 - He was born in North Tedworth (Tidworth), Wiltshire (birth certificate).
30 August 1876 - His mother Hannah Jackman (née Stevens) registered his birth. His father was a farm labourer (birth certificate).
3 April 1881 - Aged 4, he was living in North Tidworth with his father, who was a gamekeeper aged 31 and born in Tedworth, his mother, aged 33, born in Hampstead Norris, Berkshire, and his siblings William W, aged 3, and Frederick C, aged 6 months, both of whom were born in Tedworth (see 1881 census).
5 April 1891 - He was a dairy boy aged 14 living with his parents and siblings William, Frederick B, Albert E, Alfred and Arthur J, in South Tidworth, Hampshire (see 1891 census).
31 March 1901 - He was an unmarried domestic gardener aged 24 boarding at Cholderton Lodge, Salisbury Rd, Amport, Hants (see 1901 census).
7 October 1905 - He was a gardener (domestic) servant aged 29 living at 12 Canon St, Aberdare when he married Rose Parry in Trinity Chapel, Weatheral St, Aberdare. The witnesses included his brother Alfred (marriage certificate).

29 January 1938 - He was a domestic gardener when he died, aged 61, at 8 West Hill Crescent, Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire, of acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis and asthma, and emphysema (death certificate).
31 January 1938 - His son, H Parry Jackman, of 8 West Hill Crescent, Kidwelly, who had been present at his death, advised the registrar (death certificate).

ETHEL WINIFRED GERRARD (NÉE PARRY) (daughter of Jenkin and Elizabeth Parry)

14 June 1882 - She was born at 108 Cemetery Rd, Aberdare (birth certificate).
5 April 1891 - She was a scholar aged 8 living with her parents and siblings at 3 Wetheral St, Aberdare (see 1891 census).
31 March 1901- Aged 18, she was living at 24 Dean St, Aberdare, with her parents, two of her siblings, her sister-in-law Margaret and her niece Ethel W. She could speak both English and Welsh (see 1901 census).
21 December 1901 - She was a witness to the marriage of her sister Elizabeth to Mathew Jenkins in Pontypridd Register Office (see marriage certificate).
7 October 1905 - She witnessed the marriage of her sister Rose to Edwin Jackman in Trinity Chapel, Weatheral St, Aberdare. She was a bridesmaid (EJ/RP's marriage certificate and see the Aberdare Leader dated 14 October 1905).

Ethel Winnifred Parry

2 April 1911 - She was aged 28 and living at 7 Little Wind St, Aberdare with her widowed mother Elizabeth, her brother Reginald and her niece Ethel Winifred (see table under her mother and 1911 census).
11 July 1911 - She was aged 28 and living at 6 Little Wind St, Aberdare when she married Herbert Bert Gerrard in Trnity Chapel, Weatheral St, Aberdare. The witnesses included her brothers Thomas Oswell and Reginald Parry, and Ethel W Parry Junior (marriage certificate).
12 March 1919 - She was living at 21 John St, Aberdare when her husband Herbert died (CWGC website).
5 May 1919 - She was presented with a framed life-sized photograph as the relative of a member who had fallen during the war at a social and presentation evening held at Trinity Chapel, Aberdare (see Aberdare Leader dated 10 May 1919).
29 September 1939 - She was a widow living alone at 21 John St, Aberdare (see 1939 register).
4 August 1953 - She was living at 21 john St, Aberdare when she signed her last will and testament (see copy will and probate).
21 February 1966 - She was the widow of Herbert Gerrard,a private gardener, when she died aged 83, of coronary thrombosis, at 21 John St, Aberdare (death certificate).
22 February 1966 - Her brother, R Parry, notified the registrar (death certificate).
24 March 1966 - Probate of her will valued at £833-4-0 (gross) £783-13-0 (net) was granted to her brother Reginald Parry of 25 Monk St, Aberdare. She left her freehold dwelling at 21 John St, Aberdare to her brother Reginald. Her monies were to be divided between her surviving brothers. The balance of her estate was also to go to Reginald (see probate and copy will).

30 December 1888 - He was born at Tintinhull, Somerset. His father was a farm bailiff. His mother' maiden name was Abbott (birth certificate).
26 February 1889 - His mother registered his birth (birth certificate).
14 April 1889 - His father was a bailfiff from Tinitinhull when he was baptised in Tintinhull parish church (Freereg web-site).
5 April 1891 - He was an infant aged 2 living at 5 Head St, Tintinhull, with his parents and siblings William aged 15, Alfred aged 12, James aged 10, and George aged 8 (see 1891 census).

10 July 1911 - He was a travelling draper aged 23 living at 24 Tanybryn St, Aberdare when he married Ethel Winnifred Parry in Trinity Chapel, Weatheral St, Aberdare. Rose E Gerrard was one of the witnesses (marriage certificate).
WWI - He served as Private R4/063227 in the Remount Sqdn, Royal Army Service Corps (CWGC web-site).
10 April 1915 - His service in France commenced (see medal card).
? - He was transferred to the Labour Corps. His service number was changed to 502802 (CWGC web-site).
12 March 1919 - He died of wounds in the Red Cross Hospital, Aberdare (CWGC web-site). He was a private in the Labour Corps (baker's haulier) of 7 Little Wind St, Aberdare, and aged 30 when he died of acute phthisis in the Red Cross Hospital, Aberdare (death certificate).
14 March 1919 - His brother W Gerrard of 28 Glynhafod, Cwmaman, who had been present at his death, notified the registrar (death certificate).
17 March 1919 - He was buried in plot S 16 3 of Aberdare cemetery (Rhondda Cynon Taff DC 23/5/01). He had served in the army for 4 years and was home on demobilisation furlough when he was taken ill. He had previously been employed by Messrs R H Miles & Sons (see Aberdare Leader dated 22 March 1919).
9 December 1919 - His (posthumous) award of the 1914/15 Star was authorised by the Labour Corps Record Office, Nottingham (see medal roll).
5 November 1920 - His (posthumous) award of the Victory and British War Medals was authorised by the Labour Corps Record Office, Nottingham (see medal roll).

13 March 1885 - He was born at 9 Mount Pleasant, Aberdare (birth certificate).
5 April 1891 - He was a scholar aged 9 living with his parents and siblings at 3 Wetheral St, Aberdare (see 1891 census).
31 March 1901 - He was a grocer's assistant aged 16 living with his brother David and his sister-in-law Florence at 84 Kingsland Rd, St Philip and Jacob, Bristol (see 1901 census).

Monday 29 August 1909 - He attended the funeral service of his father Jenkin at Siloa Congregational Chapel, Aberdare, followed by the burial in the old cemetery, Aberdare (see Aberdare Leader dated 4 September 1909).
20 July 1910 - He was a grocers assistant.

18 February 1915 - He enlisted in the army at Cardiff. He underwent a medical examination that day at the Cardiff RAMC(T) Depot. He was a shop assistant aged 29 years and eleven months. He was 5' 4 1/2" tall. His weight was not recorded. His chest, fully expanded, was 36" with a range of expansion of 3". His physical development and eyesight were good. He joined the 2/2 W F Ambulance Corps. His regimental number was 2236 but this was crossed out (at a later date?) and amended to 366250 (Army Forms B178 and W9369).

15 March 1915 - He was at Aberystwyth with the 2nd Welsh Field Ambulance RAMC (T).
21 March 1915 - He was Private 2236 in the 2nd Welsh Royal Field Artillery (Ambulance?)(RDP's birth certificate).

20 November 1915 - He arrived in France. He was subsequently awarded the 1915 star (medal card).

1916(?) - He saw service with the RAMC in Egypt (see photographs) and Gallipoli (info from David Morgan 2/8/04).
11 June 1917 to 22 February 1919 - He was admitted to hospital at various times (locations/details not included) suffering from dysentery (Pensioner's Record Card M. P. X 9) .
11 April 1919 - He was invalided to England (from ?) (Pensioner's Record Card M. P. X 9).
20 April 1919 - He was admitted to the Kitchener Military Hospital in Brighton suffering from dysentery (see Table II of his army medical records).
28 May 1919 - He was classed as Biii at dispersal (see Table III of his army medical records).
27 June 1919 - He was an Acting Staff Sergeant in the RMC, Reg. No. 366250, when he was discharged from the army (Army Form W9369).
By 14 November 1919 - He was had been sent the British Silver War Badge (awarded to those who survived the war but were discharged from the ranks due to injury or illness) (see Roll of Individuals entitled to the "War Badge").
26 April 1920 - He had a medical examination in Cardiff. He had frequently been suffering from diarrhoea. Pulse 80 (Pensioner's Record Card M. P. X 9).
15 April 1921 - He had a medical examination in Cardiff. He had had diarrhoea twice in the previous month. He had pain and a lump under his right cosal margin and suffered from headaches. His teeth were good and he had upper dentures (Pensioner's Record Card M. P. X 9).
4 May 1922 - He had a medical examination in Cardiff. Since the previous August, he had had three severe attacks of abdominal pain and diarrhoea (Pensioner's Record Card M. P. X 9).
1923 - He was a corn dealer at 51 Gadlys Rd, Aberdare (see Kelly's 1923 Directory of South Wales).
31 March 1935 - He was a corn merchant when he was a witness to the wedding of John Henry Davis-Banbury to his daughter Edna May in the parish church at Reigate, Surrey (JHDB/EMP's marriage certificate).
29 September 1939 - He was a retail dealer in corn and seeds living with his wife Edith A and one other at 34 High St, Aberdare (see 1939 census).
(?) - He was a member of the board of governors of Abernant (?) Hospital, Aberdare.
To 1949 - He was a deacon of the Apostolic Church in Aberdare (see photograph), where he was a Sunday School teacher. He spoke in tongues during the church services (info from David Morgan 2/8/04).
20 November 1949 - He was living at 34 High St, Aberdare (1950 Register of Electors). NB he did not appear in the register for 1951 where the registration date was 20 November 1950.
1949/50 to 1964 - He lived at 48 Fengates Rd, Redhill, Surrey.
31 March 1951 - He had retired when he was a witness to the wedding of his daughter Edith Helen and John Shane Healey that took place in Sidlow Bridge parish church, Surrey (JSH/EHP’s marriage certificate).
12 September 1951 - He was a retired corn merchant when he was a witness to the marriage of his daughter Elizabeth Mary Louise and Philip Stanley Mason at Morden Register Office (PSM/EMLP’s marriage certificate).
29 April 1964 - He died intestate, aged 79, in the East Surrey Hospital, Redhill, Surrey of broncho pneumonia and cerebro vascular thrombosis (death certificate).

1 October 1982 - She died intestate, aged 96, in the Redhill General Hospital, Redhill, Surrey of: - (1)(a) coronary artery occlusion, (1)(b) Ischaemic heart disease, (2) recent cerebral infarct and (3) recent repair of right hip fracture - operation successful. Certified by G M Hodges, Deputy Coroner for Surrey, after post-mortem without inquest (death certificate).

15 June 1953 - He was living at 29 Albert Rd, Wellington, Shropshire when he signed his last will and testament. He appointed his son David George Parry to be his sole executor. He wished to leave the whole of his estate to his wife Margaret Mary (see will).
22 February 1966 - He was living at 25 Monk St, Aberdare, when he notified the registrar of the death of his sister Ethel Winifred Gerrard EWG's death certificate).
29 March 1966 - He was a retired civil servant living at 25 Monk St, Aberdare, when he was granted probate of his sister Ethel Winifred Gerrard's estate. He was to receive her house at 21 John St, Aberdare plus the balance of her estate excluding her monies which were left to her other surviving brothers (see her copy will and probate).
3 November 1874 - He died (Probate Register).
December qtr 1974 - His death was registered in Pontypridd (GRO ref Vol 27 page 1036).
16 December 1974 - He had lived at 25 Monk St, Aberdare when the probate of his estate valued at £2353.32 (net £2263.32) was granted in Llandaff to his son David George Parry of Sunfold, New Bryngwyn Rd, Newbridge, Gwent (see will and Probate).

16 April 1889 - Her mother Mary was living in Mary St, Aberdare, when she registered her birth. Mary made her mark in the register. Her father Jonathan was a coal miner (birth certificate).
5 April 1891 - Aged 2, she was living at 20 Mary St, Aberdare, with her parents Jonathan, a coal miner, and Mary, both aged 37, and her siblings David, a coal miner aged 16, Jeffrey aged 14, Gwendoline S aged 11, Martha H aged 9, Rachel J aged 7, and Elizabeth aged 4 (see 1891 census).
