Arthur Henry Haynes - 1910-2008

The following is the story of my father's life based on the memories of my mother, myself, and my siblings. He was not a person to share his inner thoughts and a  conversation with him was generally one-way.  He had the capacity to speak volumes about simple matters and not enough about matters of the heart which was not uncommon for a man of his generation. His life seems so ordinary in so many ways but it was a life filled mostly with  happy times and a few regrets.  Many of the funny stories I heard over and over again while growing up have taken a life of their own. 

After he passed away, in his sleep, on November 22nd, 2008 I began to create this website to try to capture many of the interesting stories and the history of his life.
