Pioneer Resident of Jennings Passes Away: Funeral Today
Jenning, La., May 6 -- Mrs. L.D. Patterson, aged 67 years, died at the family residence on north Lake Arthur avenue Tuesday morning following an illness of several weeks. The body will lie in state at the home until 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon when the funeral will be held from the United Brethern church. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Patterson has lived in Jennings since 1885 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Taylor.
Surviving are her husband and 11 children: Albert and F.G. Patterson of Port Arthur, Texas, Austin and William of Jennings; Mrs. John Ragan, Mrs. F.F. Leonard and Mrs. P.R. Routon of Jennings; Mrs. A.E. Notestine of Welsh; Mrs. Howard Boudreaux of Los Angeles, Cal., and the Misses Laura and Vera Patterson of Jennings.
