Westminster Abbey
August 2nd
We caught the 8:17 a.m. train from Luton to Kings Cross station in London. We then took the tube to Westminster Abbey. The Matins service was very nice with the Collegiate singers performing. The abbey is only open on Sundays for worshippers. There is nothing like choral music in a medieval cathedral. Afterwards, we tubed to London Bridge and then toured the Tower of London. We saw the crown jewels and were given a tour by a beefeater. After lunch, we did some shopping on Regent Street. Then back to Luton and the motel.
