Owl at Butterfly and Owl Sanctuary
July 27th
Today was our visit to Muriel's in South Anston near Sheffield. We wanted to stop on the way at an animal sanctuary that was on the west side of Sheffield. I didn't know exactly where it was and did get lost, but eventually stopped and asked for directions and found it. We didn't stay long but did enjoy seeing all the animals. We then travelled through the center of Sheffield on our way to Muriel's. We had our lunch there and met their neighbor's cat Georgie. Afterwards we walked about a mile to a butterfly farm and bird center. The heat and humidity in the greenhouse was tremendous even though the thermometer only said 87 F. We must be getting spoiled by the lower temperatures here in England. After we returned we had dinner, talked and then left about 9:00 p.m. for the trip back to Litton Mill.
