     Maria Elisabeth Stoerker was born on 6 May 1844.1,2 Other sources show Maria was born in Hannover, Buer, Melle, Germany, on 6 March 1844. She was the daughter of Christian Friedrich Störcker and Clara Maria Poesser.
     Either Maria or her sister Klara married someone named Hoesenjoegger.

The 1870 Missouri Census shows that the Henry Klausmeier family was living in Callaway Township, St. Charles County, Missouri. Also living with the family was a Mary Sturker, age 54, and her children Fritz, age 19; Caroline, age 14; and Minie, age 10.

     Maria Elisabeth Stoerker immigrated on 19 November 1857 to in New Orleans, Orleans County, Louisiana, USA, with her parents Christian Friedrich Störcker and Clara Maria Stoerker . They arrived on Ship "Anton Guenther" of Bremen He arrived with his wife and 6 children.

About November of 1857, Christian Friedrich Stoerker and his wife, Clara Marie (nee Poesser) moved to a farm near Cappeln Church in western St. Charles County, Missouri. They had a six-year-old son, Conrad Friedrich Stoerker, and some daughters. They had come from Buer, near Melle, Province Hannover, in Germany. (The 1900 Illinois Census for Washington County lists the year of immigration as 1859).3,4
     Maria Elisabeth Stoerker was listed as Marie Störker on her confirmation record.1
     Marie and August was confirmed at age 14 at St John's Church, Cappeln, St Charles County, Missouri, USA, on 16 March 1858.1,2
     Herm Heinrich Klaussmeier married Maria Elisabeth Stoerker, daughter of Christian Friedrich Störcker and Clara Maria Poesser, at St John's Church, Cappeln, St Charles County, Missouri, USA, on 26 February 1863.5,6
     She was a witness at Frederick Henry Kolbus and Louise Catherine Stoerker's wedding at St John's Church, Cappeln, St Charles County, Missouri, USA, on 20 May 1869. Frederick Stoeker was also a witness at the wedding, but I'm uncertain as to which Frederick Stoerker this refers to..7,8
     Maria died on 10 March 1911 at age 67.5
