Our first child Kevin David Krueger was born at Washington Hospital in Washington, Missouri on May 28, 1956 a short time after my birth date of May 27th. He was delivered by Dr. Benny Eisenmann. Kevin died in my arms on the way to Washington Hospital on March 31st 1957. We moved from our little house and half acre in Berger (which we rented for $26 a month from Bert and Gracie Juedemann) to Hermann, Missouri where David was teaching school.

     Kevin died on 3 April 1957 at St Francis Hospital, Washington, Franklin County, Missouri, USA. The cause of death was acute infectious gastreonteritis.6,1,3,5 His funeral was on 5 April 1957 at Ebenezer Methodist Church, Berger, Franklin County, Missouri, USA, Kevin laid in state at the Blumer Funeral Home in Berger. Funeral services were held at 2pm.7 He was buried on 5 April 1957 in the St John's Cemetery located in Berger, Franklin County, Missouri, USA. Headstone reads
