     Price was born in Las Cruces, Dona Ana County, New Mexico, USA, on 7 June 1931.2,1 He was the son of Price Fontaine Sanders and Genevieve Beatrice Lucero.1
     Philip was an only child.3
     His common name was Sad Sanders.1,4

     Philip grew up on a ranch.3
     Philip worked raising money for the Republican Party on a Political Action Committee (PAC). He couldn't get another job after he had his stroke. The stroke left his entire right side paralyzed.3
     Price Philip Rockne Sanders married Margaret Ann Herrell, daughter of Cecil Dewey Herrell and Anna Marie Sexton, in Las Cruces, Dona Ana County, New Mexico, USA, on 27 January 1951.1,4
     Sue Myers (#130) remembers visiting Peg and Philip shortly after they were married. She thought they were the most beautiful couple she had ever seen.5
     Philip needed a stent. It was very early in the technology and there were many risks. He had a stroke as a result of the surgery.3
     When Philip woke up after the stroke, the first thing he saw was the story about Regan being shot.3
     They resided in Las Cruces, Dona Ana County, New Mexico, USA, in 1989. Before moving to Las Cruces, they had lived in Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Southern California.3
     An aid who didn't really know what she was doing was assisting Philip. She dropped him and he broke his back. He spent the next five months in a lot of pain. He used a heating pad to ease the pain and ended up geting thrid degree burns on his back.3
     Price died on 15 March 2004 at age 72.6
