John Gist bought 80 acres for $40 in E1/2 of NW1/4 S33-T46-R16, except for the graveyard Cooper County, Missouri, USA, from James Stinson on 28 October 1837. The deed was witnessed by an unknown person and proved.2
John died in 1863.1
