     Hollis J Sadler served in the War Between the States for the Confederate army. He enlisted.2
     Hollis was a civil war veteran of the Confederate Calvary. He fought at Wicksburg, Mississippi. Margie Seago has these records. During this time, the family name was spelled Saddler. Somewhere along the line, the second "D" was dropped.
     Hollis J Sadler was a farmer in Jackson, Missouri, USA. His farm was on Main Street. The intersecting street was named Hollis.
     Hollis J Sadler married Nancy S. Hornbuckle, on 19 July 1866.2
     Hollis J Sadler married Sally Shultz.
     Hollis died in 1921.3
