Mrs. Elva Ann Howard, 67 years old, died at her home in Clarksburg Tuesday evening, July 1. She had been bedfast since last December when she fell and broke her leg. She was a daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. W. J. Atkinson. She was born in Cooper County October 26, 1873 the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. W. J. Atkinson. She was married to Goldr Howard, of California, Mo., and they lived there for a number of years. Mr. and Mrs. Howard had been supervisors in the state hospital in St. Joseph and the Hastings, Neb., state hospital. Mrs. Howard retired four years ago and since Mr. Howard had been supervisor in the children's hospital at Marshall, Mo. Besides her husband, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Stella Miller, of Clarksburg, Mo. Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning at the Williams Funeral Home. Rev. J. S. Laws and Rev. Allen Webb officiated.3
