At a special meeting of the Fillmore County Extension committee the resignation of Miss Ruth May Green, our capable home demonstration agent for the past three years, was accepted, and Miss Hildegard Altenbernd of Clay county was hired to take her place.
Ruth will late in December become the bride of Carl Amundson of Chatfield and they will make their home on the farm on the pavement south of Chatfield which he recently purchased.
Ruth will complete her work on December 20 and her successor, now instructor of home economics in the schools at Olivia, will take over soon after that date.
