     Lula was born on 15 June 1879.1 She was the daughter of Jacob L. Knauss and Female Unknown.
     They resided in Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Indiana, USA, between 1953 and 1958. Lena and her sister Lula lived in a large house on one of the main streets of Evansville, Indiana. Ted Braun (#745) would visit them there while he was living in Henderson, Kentucky.
     Lula died in February 1971 in Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Indiana, USA, at age 91.1
