Notes for Robert WORDEN
Listed in Guild Rolls for 1542 and 1562 with father William. Sons are listed in 1582, but he’s not. According to 1574 Manor records, Robert had inherited his father William’s lands at age 40 since the previous record several years before. He was the 2nd son, but his older brother William had died. [618]

A pedigree chart in a newsletter of the Worden Family Assoc. V. XIII No. 1, May 1992, may be one of the sources that got his marriage into general circulation, as usually only Isabel’s name is given. That source also supposedly has his death date - 11 Sep 1580. An article in the May 1994 newsletter abstracts information from"The Worthington Families of Medieval England” by Philip Michael Worthington (1985). Isabel is mentioned in a chapter on the family in Blainscough. There is also apparently legal paperwork regarding a land transfer Robert Worden made to Robert Worthington, Isabel’s brother, in order to provide funds for the dowries of his daughters. (See WC/dcsvdata)
Notes for Isabell WORTHINGTON
Evidently tied to Robert through legal paperwork between him and her brother regarding land leased to her brother to provide funds for Isabel’s children (possibly dowries). (See WC dcsvdata)
