Her second husband John Betts bought land in Huntington in 1680. They were settled there by 1684, when John Betts and his wife Abigail conveyed part of the farm to Edward Higbee “for and in consideration of a marriage” between Higbee and Abigail Adams. (NEHGR 59:316)
