The main proof this John is the son of Samuel is an agreement between Samuel’s sons, and John of Tisbury’s subsequent sale of the land he received; and the fact that Samuel apprenticed his son to a blacksmith, and the John Eddy of Tisbury came there as a blacksmith from Plymouth.
