They find things not well in Widdow Maydocks family so another committe appointed to visit and promote reconciliation.

John Worrall and Richard Sarrot are ordered to speak unto Alice Maddock. Nathan her sonne and his wife & his sister-in-law to know of them the reason why they absent themselves from Friends meeting.
5 6th 1684
John Worall and Rich: Sarrott have spoke with Alice Maydock & her sone etc. An the sd Alice pleads malilly of body and nothing else occations her absence. Her sone confeseth fear was the only cause of his declineing but seemed to be sorry but hopes to be more dilligent soe did his wife & her sister.
