COMMUNITY HISTORY IN THE MAKING…75 YEARS AGO

            Miss Clara Belle Downs and William J. Webb were married Nov. 24 at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. M.M. Markland, West Markland Avenue.  A reception for the couple was held in their newly-built home at 121 W. Markland Avenue.  Miss Downs is the granddaughter of David Foster, the founder of Kokomo.  Webb is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Webb, North Union Street.
