D. ROSEMARY ZELL FRAZIER

March 23, 1931 - Jan. 19, 2005

            D. Rosemary Zell Frazier, 73, 1850 Matador St., Caring Hands in Peru, formerly of Kokomo, died 10:02 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, at Howard Regional Health System in Kokomo. Born March 23, 1931, in Monroe Township of Howard County, she was a daughter of Orlando "Orley" and Opal (Miller) Healton.
            She graduated from Western High School in 1949, which was the first graduating class, where she was valedictorian. She was a homemaker and also retired from K-Mart after 10 years of service.
            She had attended Forest Lawn Nazarene Church and Southdowns Wesleyan Church. She was a member of the YWCA, where she was active in water aerobics.
            She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Susie Zell, Kokomo; two daughters and sons-in-law, Freda and Louis Zlaty, Kokomo, and Edna and Scott Raisor, Camden; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Lester and Ethel Healton, Larry and Sue Healton and Roger and Susan Healton, all of Kokomo; three sisters, Mildred Healton, Deanna and husband Gerald Munsell, and Dorothy Cardwell, all of Kokomo; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents.
            Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with the Rev. Mark Rennaker officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to ALS. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
