     John Bupp Lantz, son of Henry and Lydia Bupp Lantz
was born in York, Pa., Dec. 20, 1852.  He was placed out
with strangers at age of 11.  In 1870, he went to Ohio and
then to California.  In 1883, he bought 160 acres of land in
Illinois where he now lives.  Since then he has bought two
more farms of 80 acres each.  He married Elizabeth Good
Canal, Winchester, Ohio, who was born Feb. 16, 1857.  His
address is Shelbyville, Ill.  His descendents are:
   1. John G., born June 7, 1886;
   2. Homer, born May 20, 1888, married, no children;
   3. Hulda, born April 19, 1894, married Lester Bennett,
      Shelbyville;
        1. Two children (names not given).

    Greveous (Griff ) Lentz, son of Henry and Lydia (Bupp)
Lantz married Leota Jumber.  They live at Columbus Grove,
