About 1800, he built the stone mansion along the turnpike which was subsequently the residence of his son-in-law, Frederick Ziegler and his grandson, Frederick K. Ziegler. Here he died Apr. 22, 1802. They had two daughters: Rose Ann Elizabeth; and Catharine. A3 Rosanna Lantz Bell A Rosanna Lantz, daughter of Christian and Elizabeth Lantz was born in Lancaster County, Pa. She came to Maryland with the rest of the family and married Frederick Bell, a farmer of the Leitersburg District. She died Feb. 13, 1798. Her children were: John Bell; Peter Bell; and Elizabeth Bell. A11 Christian Lantz A1 Christian Lantz, son of Christian and Elizabeth Lantz was born in Leitersburg District, Md., October 7, 1777. He married Esther Musselman. He inherited a part of his father's estate (The Mill Property on the Antietam) and was a farmer. He died Aug. 27, 1860. He had the following children: Christian; George W., see family of George W. Lantz (A112); Samuel, see family of Samuel Lantz (A113); Rosann Elizabeth, married Henry Zeller and lived in Wash. Co., Md.; Caroline, unmarried; and Catherine, married Wil- liam Crum. A12 George Lantz A1 George Lantz, son of Christian and Elizabeth Lantz was born in Leitersburg District. He married Catherine Wagaman and they had children: Samuel; Christian; George W., see family of George W. Lantz (A123); Jacob, see family of Jacob Lantz (A124) ; Catherine; Elizabeth, Amy; Leah; and Rebecca. A13 Adam Lantz Al Adam Lantz, son of Christian and Elizabeth Lantz, was born in Leitersburg District, Md. In 1822, he went to Ohio. He had the following children: Christian, see family of Christian Lantz (A131); David; Samuel, who was a Doctor; John; Henry; and Sophia.
