    Catherine, daughter of Christian Lantz was born Feb.
15, 1803 in Mfflin Co., Pa.  She died Jan. 1, 1863 in Carlock,
Ill.  In 1825 she married Joseph Joder who was born Sept.
17, 1797 and died Dec. 31, 1887.  He was a farmer, teacher,
philosopher, and poet.  Their children were: Anna, see
family of Anna Clark (B181); Susanna, see family of
Susanna Sharp (B182) ; Miriam, see family of Miriam Kauf-
man (B183); Sarah, see family of Sarah Yoder (B184);
Catherine, see family of Catherine Yoder (B185); Mary,
born Jan. 12, 1834; died Nov. 26, 1871; unmarried; student
and teacher; Iddo, see family of Iddo Yoder (B187); Emma,
born Jan. 15, 1841; married 1867 Samuel Lentz, a carpenter
and cabinet maker.

         B19        Magdalena Stutzman           B1

    Magdalena, daughter of Christian Lantz was born April
26, 1803 in Mifflin County, Pa.  She married Henry Stutz-
man.  A complete genealogy of this family will soon be avail-
able in the Hostetler-Stutzman Genealogy which is now in
process of publication and is not repeated here.

    Solomon, son of Christian Lantz was born Jan. 14, 1806
in Mifflin County, Pa.  He died April 4, 1870 in Ligonier, Ind.
He married Anna Stutzman (3 children), and Hannah Riehl

see family of Adam Lantz (B1a3); David, see family Of

    Christian Lantz, son of John Lantz and Frany Beiler
lived in a part of Cumberland County, which is now in Som-
