    Susan, daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Lantz, was
born and raised in Lancaster County, Pa.  She married
Benjamin Landis and had five children: Emanuel Landis;
Jacob Landis; Ann Landis; John Landis; and Benjamin
Landis.

         F25     Catherine Lantz Martin          F2

    Catherine, daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Lantz was
born in Lancaster County, Pa.  She married Edmund Martin.

         F31         Catherine D. Haines         F3

    Catherine, daughter of Adam and Feronica (Lantz)
Diffenbaugh was born in Lancaster County, Pa.  She mar-
ried Isaac Haines.

         F32      Susanna D. Longenecker         F3

    Susanna, daughter of Adam and Feronica (Lantz) Dif-
fenbaugh was born in Lancaster County.  She married
Abraham Longenecker.

         F33         John Diffenbaugh            F3

    John Diffenbaugh, son of Adam and Feronica (Lantz)
Diffenbaugh was born in Lancaster County, Pa.  Upon his
father's death, he succeeded to one-third of his father's
farm, paying off interests of the girls.  His children, who
were left one dollar each in their grandmother's will were:
Henry; Abraham; Ann, married Greider; Susanna; Mary,
married David Weaver; Elizabeth, married Tobias Greider;
and Catherine.

    George Diffenbaugh, son of Adam and Feronica (Lantz)
Diffenbaugh was born in Lancaster County.  Upon his
father's death, he inherited a third of the home place, pay-
ing his sisters a lump sum for their share.

         F35        Henry Diffenbaugh            F3

    Henry Diffenbaugh, son of Adam and Feronica (Lantz)
Diffenbaugh was born in Lancaster County.  He received the
other third of his father's farm and helped the other broth-
ers pay off the other children.
