    Fred William Lantz, son of John and Mary Lantz was
born May 10, 1855 and died Apr. 4, 1893.  He married Eliza-
beth Schneider in 1884.  They had children: Frederick Wil-
liam, born Feb. 27, l@886, died Sept. 16, 1907, unmarried;
Edith Elfleda, born Feb. 5, 1888, unmarried, 324 Stricker
St., Baltimore, Md.; Edna Alberta, born Feb. 21, 1890, died
Jan. 2, 1912, unmarried; Alfred Luther, born July 24, 1892,
died Aug. 6, 1916, unmarried.

    Charles H. Lantz, son of John and Mary (Rieger) Lantz
was born July 22, 1862.  In 1889, he married Elizabeth Grif-
fith.  Their home is in Cumberland, Md.  They have children:
Georgia Lola, born 1894, married John Wiebel in 1916;
Bertha Charlotte, born 1896, died 1915.

             The Lantzs in Baltimore, Md.

    Christian Lantz was born Jan. 1797 in Germany. He
emigrated to America and settled in Baltimore, Md., where
he died July 14, 1876.  His wife's name was Catherine.  They
had the following children: Eliza, married Dasch, 1 Cottage
Ave., Baltimore, Md.; Jacob; Elizabeth; Adam; Katherine,
married Wagner; William F.

    Adam Lantz, son of Christian and Catherine Lantz was
born Aug. 25, 1850.  He married Lena and lives at 2125
Hollis Street, Baltimore, Md.  They have children: Caroline,
born Oct. 4, 1874; Herbert, born July 17, 1885; George, born
Oct. 29, 1890; William F., born Sept. 17, 1877; and Kathern.

                    JACOB LANZ

       The Lantz Families of Burr Oak, Kansas.

   Jacob Lanz was born May 24, 1834 at Rohrbach, Kanton
Bern, Switzerland.  He was the son of Johann Jacob, who
was born Dec. 24, 1799 and died June 15, 1884, in Switzer-
land and Anna Zedi; and the grandson of Johan Lanz, who
