The Families of Andrew Jackson Graham

Andrew Jackson Graham (Jack), the third of John and Nancy, was born January 23, 1837 in Fulton County, Kentucky. He was a briefly a Confederate soldier, enrolled in the 4th Tennessee, Company E. He bought 80 acres from his father for $1,000.00 in 1863. To see their contract click here. He had eight children by his first wife, Susan Adeline Herring, who was born in Tennessee in 1845and died in July of 1880.

Andrew Jackson Graham married Josephine Owen (born June 4, 1856 in Tennessee) after the death of Susan Adeline. Josephine's parents were Johnathon Owen (b.1806 Scotland) who m Margary Ivey (1814-1873), born in Ireland. Click here for information on the Jonathan Owen family.
