L.B. Graham Services Held Today

Lewis Booker Graham, 88, retired Fulton County farmer, died at 11:25 a.m. Saturday at Haws Memorial Nursing Home, following a short illness. He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge No. 131 F & AM, Clinton.

Born in Fulton County December 30, 1886, he was the son of the late Andrew Jackson and Josephine Owen Graham. His wife, Melvin Burns Graham, died September 4, 1973.

Masonic rites were held at 7 p.m. Sunday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Fred Thomas and Rev. Ralph Rogers officiating. Interment was in Liberty Cemetary.

Survivors include two sons, Wes Graham and Jack Graham, Clinton, Route 1; two grandchildren, Jerry Graham, Crutchfield, Jackie Graham, Brazil; two great grandchildren, Carey Leigh and Jeremy Sanger Graham, Crutchfield.

Also surviving are two sisters, Miss Jessie Graham, St. Louis and Mrs. June Streiff, of St. Louis.

Active pallbearers were Joe Bill Luten, Thomas Hoodenpyle, Clem Atwill, Leslie B. Tarver, Arthur H. Brown and Thomas Webb.
