George Comley divorced his wife, Louisa Caroline née Harlow.

The following notes are from Paul Udloff:
1865: sued his wife for divorce; Index to Matrimonial & Divorce Causes: 1865/180 George Comley v Louisa Caroline Comley & Heaford. 1868: described himself as a widower, aged 44, on his 2nd marriage certificate. His wife Louisa was described by their son George Frederick as his widow on her death certificate in 1878.
