Brian was schooled at De La Salle, Sheffield and became a Scout leader at Meadowhead, Sheffield. He worked for National Wesminster Bank in Sheffield and Birmingham and spent many years in International Banking in London. He lived at Leytonstone, London. In his latter years he became a Freemason.
